I liked Pat's quip about their sound vs Mumford and Sons towards the end. Speaking of Mumford and Sons, I find it really strange when some of the rock radio stations in my area play them, since you really have to stretch the definition of rock to fit them in (not that I mind, since I'd rather hear them than a lot of the other crap that gets played on the radio). I really need to get around to putting some songs on the ipod I just bought so I have something else to listen to in the car. I must say this is one of the best articles I've read, the journalist met with them multiple times for this article and was able to get vast amounts of information and material. Some of these include: a drunken personal philosophy lecture by Carney, high school memories of Pat getting bullied and Dan smoking pot everyday, experiences and tensions on stage, influences from the past, current recordings, perceptions on fans, personal living, and much much more! The article is amazingly well written and I believe they make reference to our forum twice. Sorry I couldn't get it up midnight, we had a huge snow storm here in Chicago that day and it practically closed everything down. It's an interesting way of thinking about all tbk albums, and any album. Tchad also mentioned that hell of a season was the hardest song to get right. He thought it wasn't going to make the album. Wish I knew something about sound recording/mixing then the interview would have been a lot better
