Being late to the game, I was bummed when I saw that the only Hoodies (The ones that say Black Keys, Akron, Ohio) left were XL. Was going to buy one with my Christmas money. My question is, does anyone know if these are being offered at the shows? If so, I thought I could send cash to have someone pick one up for me. (Unable to buy tickets for Cleveland, GA all gone).

Just musing.

Thanks,

Obi Wan

I snipped this from the recently released GOTC video. If I had to guess I'd say this is not Dan's but rather one of those two other guys'. Thoughts?

I've found that some of the ones selling on ebay are sold as x2 vinyl.

Has anybody of you bought this version?

I'm checking since I've ordered "x2 vinyls" before and got albums with only one vinyl in.

Worth checking since a double version of this album seems a bit strange, I mean it's under 40 minutes long.

Does this song reference hoodoo themes - It's all very southern vibey, also keep it hid could be tied to keeping the mojo hid?! Aaaaaand there's a robert johnson song called little queen of spades which is about a womans mojo. In keep it hid i'm sure there's a reference to his diamond queen (be my diamond queen). There's also references to them coming for him (like the hell hounds). I dunno i've been reading about southern folklore of USA and some things sorta cropped up that made me think hmm, dan auerbach has worked with Dr John, he talks about Gris Gris etc etc. Who knows. Random i know but i was a bit bored of the circles of El Camino chat haha!

Hey guys, me and my brother are flying to London on 10/2 (we're not from the UK), and we missed our chance to buy the tickets for the concert... <img src="http://theblackkeysfanlounge.com/forum/my-plugins/bb-smilies/default/icon_sad.gif" title=":(" class="bb_smilies" />
We were wondering if anybody here has any extra tickets for us to buy for the 11/2 concert at Alexandra Palace.
We're big fans of the band, and it'll be really annoying if we'll miss the concert :\

Thanks in advance!

please keep the discussion constructive.

but, i want to know--WHO ACTUALLY LIKES EL CAMINO?!

during the press storm of el camino, i think i really finally GOT the black keys. there was one interview, the guy asks dan about run right back-if it was about his daughter-or something along the lines of that, and dan said that most of the songs on el camino have no meaning. lyrics were crafted on the fly and they just went with the classic black keys themes of love and stuff like that. Dan said that if TBK were given the time, they would love to jump into the studio and just pump out music. a week here, a week there, they could be releasing albums every few months.

after that, i kinda looked at el camino with a different stance. i was overthinking the songs, i was so-so on alot of them. songs like dead and gone, sister, and stop stop are now some of my favorites, just for their musical aspects.

idk, after sinking into my brain for a bit, i really enjoy listening to all the tracks on el camino. i really dig it.

anyone else out there who can can play el camino without skipping a track?
