Speaking of bands i've started listening to because of TBK, Radio Moscow are swinging through the Midwest U.S. in April. I'm planning on seeing them at The Beachland in Cleveland on April 18th. Always wonder if Dan or Pat will drop by when one of the Alive Records bands are in town. I'll be sure to have my camera ready.

I made a Black Keys Pandora Radio station the other day, and it kept playing tracks by a band called Dr. Dog. Awesomeness. I'm addicted to the track "The Ark".

PS: If you like The Ark, you'd loove CWK's "Audience"

I finally got the Radio Moscow cd's, and wow! Some serious shredding of the guitar on them! Parker Griggs has no doubt mastered the wah. He smacks it, kicks it in the corner, and makes it his bitch. Interesting that he also plays the drums on both cd's. You can definitely feel the Blue Cheer influence. And i also detect some Iron Butterfly. I'm especially stoked now to see them April 18th at the Beachland.

If you check out scentedvinyl.com they have a download-able session of Radio Moscow. They do No Good Woman, Escape, and an Untitled Jam

Man, I've been checking out Brimstone Howl a lot over the last few days. GOOD STUFF! I have to go and pick up some of their stuff, and check them out. I feel like I've seen them once when they were starting out as Ceaser the Greaser a few years back.

Check out the band "The Fumes". Two piece from Australia, really reminds me of the Keys. To be honest, not sure how I came across them, they seem pretty isolated to Australia and Japan, but I'll tell you, they can freakin jam.

Yes! I checked out 'The Mountain' having heard of them through TBKs, and that became one of my favorite albums of 09. It's all about the vox- Erika Wennerstrom!

I can't say enough about this band - The Black Diamond Heavies.
Dan produced their latest record and they are one of the best live duos/bands on earth.
This is an especially good version of 'Nut Bush City' as Porkchop sits in on slide guitar.

Junior Kimbrough, Charles Caldwell, Hacienda, Radio Moscow, Left Lane Cruiser, Jessica Lea Mayfield, Drummer, the Royal Bangs, The Morning Benders, Cadillac Sky, etc.

Too many to list but those are some of the best ones I've found thanks to TBK.
