In the spirit of seeing shows for the nookie, I once sat through some cheesy country show with a girl from school...longest three hours of my life, man. On top of that, she was apparently a well mannered church girl type, from a good family, so the prospects of getting the old panties off weren't as good as I had hoped.
Anyway, a couple of weeks later, I told her I wanted to check out a buddy's band (lie) that was opening for another band I'd never heard of. (Slayer). Well, we were standing on the edge of what became the *pit,* and within thirty seconds of the first song she literally looked like this.
Long story short, I never did get any luvin', but that night alone made it worth it.

i don't think i've ever been to a gig to get into a lady, i usually just take them out to town n get them ratarsed. i jest, i wouldn't pay for all their drinks anways! they have a good time though. just trying to think of a massive fail (it isnt too hard tbh) ah yea, i went back to a party with this girl, thinking that the party was only going to be 5 minutes away in a cab. after defending her shithouse mates from some horrible little scrotum i jumped in the cab and off we went. next minute i get a fone call of a friend i had been out with, "where are you?" ... in a cab mate goin back to this party... "wheres the party?" (btw its already 5.30am) er not sure.... but er i'm on a motorway. an hour or so later we get back to this "party" and well nothing happens. they sit around drink tea and coffee, i get a hug thats about it n then leave at 10am without any sleep or sexy time. Although as i'm leaving she invites me to stay out with them for the day.... er from that flacid evening no thanks, i'm going to try and find my car and go home to bed. £30 in a cab (in uk thats pretty damn steep, before this my most expensive cab ride from a night out had been £21)
