The video of "The Cool Kids" didnt sound anything like blakroc. Like it kinda of went against the whole idea of having the mcs come into the studio ..not allowing them to take tracks home. All that with the video just doesnt add up to me Posted 1 year ago #

I doubt the validity of this as well. Unless they decided to go completely against the process they used in the first album. The white dude is adjusting the EQ? That wouldn't have happened on the first one. Same guy says, "$^&*% is playing the bass." Posted 1 year ago #

Did he say "The drummer is playing bass"? That would have made sense, referring to Patrick of course, other than that, I also can't believe this video. But maybe Blakroc 2 has a new approach of sending tracks out to the MCs. I don't really know much about the Cool Kids, but maybe the white dude is their producer and is an EQ master. Nevertheless, this track sounds like it has a unique drum track, if that's Patrick playing I will go ahead and give props. Posted 1 year ago #

This looks like a bunch of hacks jammed into someones mom's tiny finished attic. Where are Dan and Pat? Where is the badass NYC studio? Where's the weed smoke? Is that Fred Dursts kid or his little brother that's drinking that Chamomile tea? Boo this. Bring on the new Keys album and leave that rap/rock shit in the dust. Oh and the COOL KIDS? Is that really their band name? They should be instantly disqualified from participating in anything the Black Keys are involved with. Posted 1 year ago #

This actually makes a lot of sense. The keys have a new album coming out in a few months. Where are they going to find time to get everyone togther like they did with the first one. The first was basically the perfect strom how it all worked out. I know they, more than anyone, can jam projects into small windows but I'm guessing it will get harder and harder to do that sort of thing, especially with a new album as high anticipated as this one. Cool.. I can only assume it's a compilation of all the webisodes, maybe with a little more footage chucked in? I'm still waiting for this "When The Night Comes" documentary that has been previewed on the creative control website for months now... This blood red ass don't smell so good... Posted 1 year ago #

Buster: I checked out that preview video (found on Google, not CC website) and it almost gives you chills. I wanna see that. I was expecting Dan to be involved bc of the title. TBK have no connection, just letting everyone know. http://www.davidfoustinc.com.....I wouldn't click it either Posted 1 year ago #
