I dont think you can really say they sold out for this. Its not like they wrote a song for Twilight. Dan said in an interview a while ago that they have let people use their music for free in lots of things. I do have a feeling it will be unfortunate that the next type of fans to be exposed to the Black Keys will be the Kings of Leon listening Twilight watching teenage girls.

Not hugely great.

"Since huge quantities of information can be computer-digitalized and transmitted, music researchers could, for example, swap records over the Net with "essentially perfect fidelity."

I like it, but I think it's appropriate that it was an outtake from Brothers. I think the songs that made the album are stronger, but at the end of the day it's another TBK song, and that works for me. I will buy this song when the album comes out.

REally loved it! In the Blakroc webisode with NOE you can hear him playing this main riff on bass! There is a clip where he is playing a hollowbody bass and he plays the main riff to Chop and Change! I remember the riff well cause I figured it out and loved it. This song is awesome!

nerb,

In no way trying to pick a fight but I've noticed you've like anything and everything TBK has ever done. Is that a fair statement? Is there anything they've done you haven't been overly excited about?

Im a huge fan of the last few albums..but I hardly ever listen to the first few albums. I dont even own TBCU anymore. I kinda grew up on blues-rock stuff and junior kimbrough and rl burnside so If I want to hear some of that stuff Ill listen to those guys. You must not have noticed everything Ive said cause I said how I dont really listen to the first few albums to often plenty of times. What if someone did like all the albums? How big of a deal would that be. People are entitled to their opinions. But to answer your question no I dont get overly excited about everything they do. You say you arent trying to pick a fight but there is no other way to look at your comments than that . No hard feelings though, everything is cool.

In no way was I, and I did miss your other comments about not listening to the first few albums a whole lot.

If someone did like everything they've done, good for them. I would just find it tough to beleive.

Well your post just come off very negatively, but thats only my interpretation. Yeah in the long "letterman and fallon" thread I know I put it in there at least a few times. It probably would be hard to believe but I dont think its too big of a deal if someone does claim that. But you are right in the fact that nobody could like every single tune.
