I've always been suspicious of George Strait and Motorhead... Seriously, I hope this was a satire. Otherwise, it's just really sad. "We run this shit like a Wendy's. We're open for breakfast every morning." Posted 1 year ago #

Those people at that god hates fags site are very confused, but let's try not to hate them. Let's pity them. What a sad confused bunch of people with too much time on their hands and too little knowledge in their brains. Hate breeds hate. Let's all stop hating. Love each other. Funny how it's always the Baptist church that does this shit. They recently picketed Ronnie James Dio's funeral too. And for an anti gay video, that could not have been more gay. A bunch of men holding hands, wearing a pink shirt, what?! Ron Paul 2012 Posted 1 year ago #

Dude, who the hell wants to go to heaven anyways? (assuming such a place exists) It sounds lame as fuck to me. Posted 1 year ago #

Yeah, religious people are all about anti greed, but the thing that motivates them is the idea that they will be rewarded with heaven. If a reward is what motivates you, is that not greed? Would these people still follow their morals if God came down and told them that they weren't going to get to heaven regardless? I'm not saying I don't believe in God or that I am anti religion, or anything like that. Just my thoughts, this is the reason I can't bring myself to be as faithful as other people Another thought, if there is an everlasting afterlife, wouldn't that give you an infinite amount of time to do everything there is to do... to the point where even conversations would repeat each other? You'd run out of things to do. Posted 1 year ago #

Basically, it's all way too convenient for me. If you take that unbelievable convenience factor, and add it to the "there is not one shred of evidence" factor... you get me, a non believer. And whenever someone thinks they got me with the whole "then who created all of this?" question, I simply spin it on them and ask who created god? My conclusion is that there is no way of knowing, and I don't believe we need to know. What happens when we die? - that is another way of saying "religion". Who cares what happens when we die? We'll fucking find out when we get there. Just be good to each other, even if you don't get rewarded for it. Like Danleary said (basically). Morgan Freeman said it well on his new series, when he was talking about an ant farm he bought for his daughter when she was small. She got bored of it in 30 mins but he was fascinated. He wondered if the ants could possibly know anything about the creator of their world (aka- him). Maybe that's how it is, and we CAN'T possibly know anything because it's so far beyond our capacity. In any case, I think the best answer to religion is "I don't know". I call myself a nonbeliever but to be more specific, I don't know. Since I don't know, I don't believe in any particular theory. I am not ruling out the possibility of a creator/higher-power. Posted 1 year ago #

most of the time i would agree with that, but not for these people they have no morals and the way they are brainwashing their children is nuts, they should be looked at for child abuse. Posted 1 year ago #

Did you ever think maybe these people were as you say "brainwashed" by their parents? Who says they have "no" morals either? Have you met somebody that was never wrong? Everybody is wrong about things, ideas, views etc. I'm not supporting hateful actions or speech at all here but by hating back, one is stooping to their level. I always say "love the sinner hate the sin"... which is what I think they should do as well if they really believe homosexuality is a sin. You just got yourself an apple strawberry sea breeze wine cooler. Posted 1 year ago #

Marsh, I see your point, and these people should not be let off the hook for their bullshit actions and beliefs, but I don't think it helps anything to say "I HATE them!!!" and in fact I think it might actually hurt your/our cause by stooping to their level of "hating" things. That word is so overused nowadays. It's so easy to just say you "hate" something. Let's think a little more and describe things with a bit more detail and color. It's more difficult to think through it and articulate exactly what you're feeling, but it's more meaningful. Posted 1 year ago #
