As far as I know, recording music from the Internet for private use is currently legal. Recording and distributing content by posting it on the internet may not be legal, depending on the use of the content being 'fair' -- which I think it would be in this case? I could very well be wrong. These copyright laws are a pain.
Having said all that, I have no problem with Brucini's decision to remove the link at the request of management as I said in the post regardless of the legal aspect. Being someone that is damn near obsessed with this bands music, I really appreciate this resource we have now that makes news or other information about the band so much easier to come across when before I would have to spend hours searching for rare songs or interviews. I definitely see how we would all want to avoid damaging any relationship this site could have with TBK. I certainly do not want to mess with "the bands grand plans", or more likely Warner Bros. grand plans, whatever those are.
I posted the link out of frustration because most of us were not able to listen to the song that all of the UK had access to. Not to steal the song and distribute it and popularize the link. Of course I could have been patient and waited until it came out over here, but I guess that is just not exciting. I assume anybody that visits this site is already a huge fan and would not rip off the band. Some of us might download a leak if it comes out, but I am sure the majority of us would have already pre-pordered the album if we could anyway.
Apologies if I got you into trouble, Brucini.
