First Black Keys album you ever bought: None. But I have them all. First album I listened to was Magic Potion. Severely underrated.
When did you first see the Keys live?: I wait with baited breath till July 2010, Manchester.
First question you'd ask Dan or Pat if you randomly sat down next to them: "Beer?"
Have you ever met Dan or Pat?: No. And I'm terribly anti-social so wouldn't pro-actively rock up and start talking.
If you were asked to join the Keys or any band they are involved in, what would you play?: I don't believe in ruining a good thing but I have a husky singing voice that might go down well.
One random fact about you?: I'm the youngest person to have climbed the highest mountain in England (Scafell Pike) in January (freezing conditions) aged 9.
Hey, my name's Jack. I think Guinness is the most wonderful thing in the world...

First Black Keys album you ever bought: Live At the Crystal Ballroom
When did you first see the Keys live?: Saw Dan and the Fast Five in Montreal in 2009. Planning on finally seeing the Keys this summer.
First question you'd ask Dan or Pat if you randomly sat down next to them: What about the time that you changed? Oh from sweet to deranged?
Have you ever met Dan or Pat?: Nope.
If you were asked to join the Keys or any band they are involved in, what would you play?: Dance moves.
One random fact about you?: I'm a terrible dancer.
Hi. I'm relatively new to this party. I had been a casual fan of the keys for a few years, just knowing their major single releases. Then when I heard Keep It Hid last year I began to see the mastery. Seriously, no album of recent memory (the last decade +?) has owned me like Keep It Hid. After that, I quickly took a second good look at the Keys and have loved everything they've ever done, from albums to videos to just their general demeanor on and off-stage. I'm really looking forward to seeing the Keys this summer. As much as I love the Black Keys as the main effort of these two talented gentlemen, I really hope Dan makes another Keep It Hid-esque album down the line and hopefully keeps the Fast Five intact too. I saw them in Montreal and it was a boomer of a show. But more-so I just love that album. I could talk forever about why it's such a masterpiece. It's just so hobo-tastic. It's a concept album that completely lacks all the pretentious bullshit associated with concept albums, IMO. The vintage sound is unlike anything out there today, including the camp that goes for the vintage sound. It's fucking timeless. And the subject matter... by the time the album is done you feel like you've shared a boxcar with some drifter from Chicago to Memphis and he told you his life story. It's raw, but also romantic. Moving without being overly-emotional, and dark without being depressing. Makes me think that a hard life is still one worth living. It is just through and through the best album I've heard in years and I still need to listen to it multiple times a week when I relax.
Anyways, I've been following this site for about a year and never posted... The album leak, err, certainly motivated my sudden membership but I look forward to posting here from time to time. I want some more.
This blood red ass don't smell so good...

The Big Come Up was the first album I've listened to. Never seen the Keys live, never met Dan or Pat.
If I'd randomly sat down next to them, I'd probably just thank them for their music. No chance I could come up with anything clever/funny/remotely interesting to say under such wonderful circumstances. I'm too shy anyway.
I play the guitar and started to play drums recently (so it's not really the kind of drumming you'd want to hear).
I'm very happy to join this forum. And sorry for my English.
